Three-day family arbitration training program – Parwan University

At the request of Parwan University, the Afghanistan Better World Organization organized a three-day family arbitration training program for 40 law and political science students from June 30 to July 2, 2024. The program was held at Parwan University.

On the first day, Prof. Dr. Abdulhaq Hanif, Vice President of Parwan University, and Prof. Mir Abdullah Haidari, Dean of the Faculty of Law and Political Sciences, expressed their gratitude to the Afghanistan Better World Organization for organizing the educational program and emphasized the importance of continuing such collaborative efforts between academic institutions and legal organizations. Honorable Abdul Mohaimen Saeedi, a representative from the Afghanistan Better World Organization, then introduced the ABWO and its activities in various legal, educational, and service domains within the country.

The educational program on family arbitration was subsequently led by respected Professor Abdul Hadi Hemmat, who provided an overview of the scientific topics covered during the training on the first day. Throughout the day, the students were divided into four working groups and, guided by Professor Hemmat’s instructions, they collaborated on hypothetical cases and participated in a mock court and arbitration simulation.

On the third day, one of the four student groups was selected to conduct a mock court session in the presence of the professors and officials from Parwan University. The latter half of the day was dedicated to distributing letters of appreciation to the participating professors and university representatives.

The students and officials of Parwan University expressed their appreciation for the informative and practical programs offered by the Afghanistan Better World Organization, and reiterated their desire for the ABWO to continue providing such professional development opportunities in the future.
